Global Energy supported the NIS project by assigning owner representative Commissoning Manager for DCU Delayed Coker Complex (CB&I Lummus License). The construction of the new complex was a true construction challenge in which over 7 million working hours were invested. On average, 1,100 people worked on the project every day, and more than 80% of the employees were local contractors.
The Delayed Coking Unit will enable to increase the output of the highest quality fuels – diesel, gasoline and liquid petroleum gas. The domestic production of petroleum coke, which we used to import, is also starting. Expanding the product range at the Refinery will further improve Serbia’s energy stability.
